"I wasn't excited about drawing portraits of singers to begin with.However, I received requests from many teenage viewers out there who asked me to draw many of their favorite singers or groups.
Unfortunately, the singers whose portraits they asked me to draw don't really 'motivate' me to do so, since I have yet to find any positive or inspiring songs from them.

On the bright side, all the requests gave me the idea of finding songs that are truly inspirational that can convey positive messages in their lyrics. I then decided to put them together into a section which I called 'Songs, Singers, and Portraits.'

Personally, I think, if a singer could not only sing, but also write his or her own lyrics, and the lyrics can instill positive inspirational theme to the listeners, then it would worth my time to draw the singer's portrait."
