Interfaith Peace Party
An Interfaith Peace Party was conducted at Elaine Hanson's house. About 60 people representing 12 different religions, showed up. Excerpts from a report by Dr. Malcolm Nazareth.

Norhashimah, along with Father Kevin Anderson, and Dr Malcolm Nazareth presented their responses to the September 11 tragedies, based on their faith perpectives, in front of a crowd of about 200 people.

An Interfaith Prayer Service for Norhashimah's father's passing
A one day notice of Norhashimah's father's death, sent via e-mail by Malcolm, brought together many of Norhashimah's Interfaith friends to the Munsinger gazebo on Sunday June 24, for an interfaith prayer service. The willingness of her Interfaith friends to sacrifice their Sunday afternoon, and came to the gathering to remember Norhashimah's father whom they had never met before, touched her heart completely. She is forever grateful for their sensitivity & loving attendance that they shared. At a time when comfort was needed, they graciously provided it with loving heart. The service was filled with prayers in various languages and sacred texts, a beautiful universal circle dance, and the sharing of food and drink. Thank you very much to Malcolm, Mariani, Mark, Anne, Elaine, Jerry, Bette, Lorrie, Jeff, Karen J, Karen R., Kathy, Mare, Jake, Helen, and all of those who showed up.May God's blessing with you always.
