O B J E C T I V E S
To inform the public at large about the existence of the United Nations and its promise of peace and prosperity in a world where everybody will be included for full and equal participation in their bioregional communities
To celebrate in the St. Cloud community the 60th anniversary of the founding of a world class institution to end war and foster reconciliation among all nations and peoples
To review the history of the United Nations and the role which the United States needs to play as a global partner in creative resolution of international conflict in the 21st century
To join hands with organizations of diverse peoples who are democratically envisioning sustainable world community of justice and harmony among cultures, languages, religions, ideologies, and philosophies of life
To reflect in our St. Cloud community celebration a mini-United Nations where local citizens join their civic and religious leaders as sisters and brothers in a festive event of song, music, dance, shared conversation, and refreshment
