INTERFAITH SACRED TEXTS & COMMUNITIES SERIES EXPLORING Jews - Dialogues - Beliefs
SAINT CLOUD, MN FEBRUARY - MARCH 2004 TUESDAYS 6:00 - 8:00 PM
VISION STATEMENT To establish a working knowledge of Jews and Judaism
in order to pursue further dialogue and help the community
at large in their understanding of Jews and Judaism
PURPOSE This educational series is planned to promote an opportunity
for dialogue among people of the Abrahamic traditions and others
who subscribe to diverse beliefs and cultural practices.
Note: This is the second of a set of six Tuesday night winter dialogues among members of world religions living in and around St. Cloud, MN. The first was titled "Muslims - Dialogues - Beliefs" (March - April 2003). The success of our opening series of six dialogues with Islam encouraged CIE/UNIITE and our co-sponsors to prepare our second winter offering to the people of Central Minnesota, this time with Jews.

How to obtain one college credit by participating

Meanwhile CIE/UNIITE also offered a 4-hour Baha'i Peace Event on 18 November 2003 in which representatives of diverse religious and no-religious communities engaged in dialogue on an important Baha'i religious document.
Future dialogue series will similarly address specific themes in an interfaith manner or they will focus on other non-Abrahamic traditions
